Soviet red Orders star Original Banner Medal Badge NKVD Dneprostroi 1927 (1288)

A special group can be distinguished signs established in the 1930s-40s-50s to reward distinguished participants in the construction of large national economic facilities, many of which used forced labor of prisoners. By orders of the GPU, the NKVD, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the chiefs of camps and construction, not only GULAG employees were awarded, but also prisoners, civilian engineers, technicians, workers, and employees.
